Meet the newest member of the Shove family!

We got a dog for the girls yesterday. He is a beagle, his name is Dozer and he will be 3 years old on the 31st. He is house trained, loves to cuddle and play...and is FAT. The family that we for him from would just feed him all day and he just laid around the house all day while everyone was at work. He is a great dog, and we love him already! :)

Its been a while!

Ok...BryLeigh joined our family on september 20, 2010. She weighed 7 lbs 11oz and was 18 inches long. She has been such a blessing to our little family and I'm proud to be her mommy.
Destini turned 2 in november. She is so big and so smart, she learns something new every day. Never ceases to amaze me! We are in the process of potty training her and she is doing great! Christmas was great, spent it with some great family and the girls got so spoiled! New years was good, made amends with some in laws and unknowingly began what I hope will be a life long friendship with a great girl! We didn't really do anything for valentines, we both had to work. And anthony and I are doing much better these days. All in all, things have been pretty good. We just got back from disneyland with my parents and brother.the girls had a blast! Can't wait to go back when anthony can come too. While we were down there, the girls got to see anthonys dad, that was great! Good food and lots of fun!

4 weeks and counting!

I am officially a month away from our due date... However, if she doesn't come out before Sept. 20th, we've decided to induce then. I'm pretty sure she'll be out in about a week or so, just because of how low she's dropped and how often I've been having contractions. But at the same time, that could just be a teaser and she's going to stay in for as long as she wants! Who knows. I have a doctor appointment tomorrow to see if I've dilated at all, do some more tests before labor and stuff like that, and go over a birth plan or something like that. I'm pretty excited about it actually.

Here's my little princess! She's getting so BIG!!! She went and played in St. George with her grandma at Gigi and Papa's house this last weekend. Had lots of fun, got to play with the water hose and help Papa fix cars (mommy's little protege) and had lots of fun helping Gigi clean and run around outside. She's super excited for her little sister to get here. She goes in the baby's room all the time and checks out the crib and stuff. She gets to hang out with mommy and daddy this weekend because grandma will be in Idaho! We have lots of fun when she stays home, so we're so excited!
Anthony is doing good, he's been helping a lot with Destini since I've been having contractions and exhausted and such. He's making a lot of changes for the better and I'm so glad that we're working on things! Everything is going really well.

Destini is now 21 months old...or at least she will be in 2 days! She talks better each day and she is SO smart! She helps mommy clean and gets her own drinks out of the fridge and will bring me a cup to pour it in...what a stinker. LOL! The baby is growing and is still healthy, measuring small but healthy! I'm due September 25th, but if I don't have her before Sept. 20th, we've decided to induce her. I can't believe how quickly time goes by when you have kids! I feel like just last month I was calling Anthony telling him that we were having another baby, and now she's almost here! Anthony's job has been keeping him busy, which is good financially but we don't get to see much of him around here. He gets to spend a couple of hours with us in the evening but has to go to bed super early to be up super early in the morning. Hopefully when the next job picks up it will be better. Better pay and a little more time with the family. I've started working part time at my mom's salon as the receptionist, as well as doing I guess you'd call it bookkeeping or something for her also. It's easy work for extra income and free daycare, which you can't beat! :) Even if it's only an extra couple hundred dollars every 2 weeks, it's nice to know that I'm still contributing to the finances so that he doesn't have to stress as much about it. We're looking into maybe buying a townhome next year when our lease is up here. I'm not sure we'll be able to by then, but hey, you never know, right? Fingers crossed.

Well, a lot's happened since the last post....
Anthony is working in Arizona right now. He was out there for 2 1/2 months when he started with this company, and luckily, when he comes back he won't have to go back. He'll be back when the job is done, hopefully next week if everything goes as planned. It's good money, and that's just about the only benefit. He's far away and in a bad area. He works so hard for our family! He's also willing to put me through school. I'm looking into Provo College for their Pharmacy Technician program, and if I can get the financial aid, classes start 8/9/10 and I'll be graduated in a year. :) Nothing's set in stone yet, it's all dependant on whether or not I can get financial aid because of my loans from UCMT. Cross your fingers for me, it'll be a great thing for our family! BryLeigh is still thriving and growing right on schedule. Due date is still 9/25/10 but I feel like she'll be early. I don't know, but that's my guess. We'll see, huh? Anthony's brother Jeff isn't living with us anymore. 2 weeks into his new job he got fired and still hasn't been able to find any other jobs. I feel terrible that he's living in the conditions he's in, but at the same time, we just cannot afford to keep being a crutch to him so that he can just barely even coast by in life. It's a lot of stress on the family that we just can't have. Destini is doing good, getting bigger all the time and SO smart! She copies me all the time, can tell me what she wants most of the time and is such a happy and playful girl. :) I've been good too, just being a stay at home mom and helping my mom out with her salon so that she can keep some of her sanity, and running around like crazy getting stuff for BryLeigh ready and getting stuff figured out for school. All in all, life's pretty good. :)

same ol' same ol'

So I am trying to figure out what to get Anthony for our anniversary. He says he just wants a game, but the problem with that is that he gets a game for every holiday. I want to do something out of the ordinary, especially since it's not just an anniversary, it's our FIRST. And it's been one hell of a year. I don't think a game says "Thanks for putting up with everything and sticking by my side." I was thinking about Gabriel Iglesias tickets, he'll be in Wendover on the 22nd, but every website I go to says they are sold out. I'm at a loss.

His brother Jeff is staying with us again until he can get on his feet. I was nervous about this because he's stayed with us before and was a huge strain on our finances and relationship. But so far, it's going alright. He's got a job this time and he's been going. If he keeps it, he'll be able to get into a new place within a month or two if he's smart with his money. Here's hoping. If he doesn't keep this job, he'll be on his own. That's the deal. If he doesn't have a job, he can't stay here. Maybe this time, it's sunken in his head enough that he'll do something about his situation instead of bouncing from place to place.

Destini is doing well, she's getting so big! She's 18 months old now and such a smart little girl! She talks, and learns new words every day! She's starting to copy what people say, so we've got to start watching our mouths. Not super hard for me to do, but everyone else that comes around will definitely have a hard time with it.
She loves to go outside and play. We are going to try to get a puppy for her to play with before the new baby comes so that she's got a playmate. She loves little furball dogs, since they are just her size. :) The only thing keeping us from getting one right now is the $400 pet deposit at our apartment complex. But, we're working on it.

The new baby-Bryleigh- is doing well also. She's growing and thriving and we can't wait for her to get here! She's due September 25th, but could go as late as October 1st because of how small she is. Everything is healthy and going well though, and that's all that matters.

Anthony has been working his butt off lately. As a result, we've been able to pay all our bills with a little left over! We have never been able to do that, and it feels so good to not have to worry! He has had some wrist problems, I think it's strained. But other than that he's been good. He is on a little bit of a health kick lately, which is good, the rest of us have been eating better too. He has lost weight though, almost back down to the weight he was when we started dating which is where he wants to be.

And as far as me, I've just been healthy and busy keeping my family healthy and happy! I clean alot and make sure that dinner is cooked every night, and not just Hamburger Helper. I actually try to get a new recipe to try out once a week. Haven't gotten one yet for this week but I also haven't really looked yet. Oops! :)

Well I think that's all for today. Have a good day everyone, I'll be back tomorrow!
